Answers to the most common questions we have received over the years

Frequently AskedQuestions

Q. Does the play group only run during term time?

A. Playgroup is on all year round, including half term, Summer and Easter holidays but it isn’t on between Christmas and the New Year. Very occasionally the hall is required by the Church but advance notice of no playgroup is advertised on our Facebook page and in the Facebook group. It’s always worth checking these if you’re planning to come in case of last minute closures due to illness or unforeseen events.

Q. Can I bring my older child to the Thursday playgroup during school holidays?

A. Older, well behaved siblings are welcome to come but the playgroup is generally suited to babies and pre schoolers. Younger siblings are welcome to come too.

Q. I'm pregnant with twins. Can I come before I have my babies?

A. Of course, we welcome bumps too and would love to meet you! There are so many questions to ask when you’re pregnant with multiples. This is a great opportunity to speak to other twin parents about pushchairs, prams, feeding schedules, in fact anything you ever needed to know about having multiples!

Q. I work full time so won't be able to make the Thursday playgroup.

A. Grandparents and Nannies are welcome at our playgroup. We also advertise Mums nights out and social events in our Facebook group which you are more than welcome to come to. We have a Summer Fun day during the Summer which is a great opportunity for families to get together and meet other twin parents.
